The Armory is a structure in Black and White 2. It is one of the buildings available after the player completes the [third & last of the] tutorial lands.

The Armory allows the player to create army Platoons of swordsmen.

Placing and building an Armory, causes the player's alignment to shift slightly more toward evil.

A Platoon can be created by dragging the red flag off of the top of the Armory, and placing it within a town's Influence.

However, if the player does not have enough men to form a Platoon, the flag cannot be selected, and if the flag is hovered over, displays a tooltip which reads "Not Enough Men".

You can always pick up male or female villagers, and drop them onto the recruitment tent, to enlist them as swordsmen.

Villagers can also idly visit and enter the Armory, and walk around on the ramparts. The purpose of this is unknown.

The game initially limits you to a maximum of 5 unique swordsman platoons [per armory?], though the limit of male villagers per platoon is only determined by the population of males who are not disciples; retrospective to platoon formation, your main concern is the strain on your food supply, as it supports your armies.

Note that you can merge two separate swordsman platoons, by selecting the banner of one, and dropping it on top of another platoon's flag.
