The Japanese are one of the 8 tribes featured in Black & white, appearing in lands 3, 4, 5, and Creature Isle.
One Japanese Spectator can also be found on Land 1 near his hut, during the "Throwing Stones" Silver Reward Scroll challenge.
Black and White 2[]
A Japanese city from the sixth land, controlled by the Japanese warlike brother.
In Black and White 2, the Japanese are the most common enemies[n 1] counting by number of lands. They are controlled by two brothers: one is focused on culture and city building, and the other one on conquest and destruction.
In this game, they are in lands, 5, 6, 7, as antagonists, but ally with the player in Land 9 as an army of soldiers, and city builders.

- ↑ In Black & White 2, you can play as the Japanese and switch your Japanese enemies to the Greek by using the Japanese mod. Note that the dialogue will still refer to the player as if they were Greeks.
